Hi,
I am trying to install a Voodoo3 card in my Aptiva 2176 but am having problems. As soon as I turn on the computer after the install it goes through the memory check then just gives a constant error tone. The screen is blank and the only way to abort is to shut off the computer and pull the card out. I don't have a separate video card installed, just the onboard video. How do I disable the onboard video so that it recognizes the Voodoo card?
Do I need a cable to attach the onboard video to the Voodoo card?
