which one do you guys prefer? I'm mainly interested in converting mp3's to audio cd's. I know with Nero you can just drag and drop the files and I like that a lot. One other feature I was looking for was volume normalization so that I don't have to keep adjusting the volume when I go from track to track.

I like Nero a great deal more. It does alot more than Adaptec and seems more stable. i get by far fewer coasters with Nero. I use vesion 4.8.0.3 or something like that. I may have transposed the 8 and 3 but...

Nero hands down. Might be a tad harder to use (at least some people say that), but it's quicker from clicking <Write> to the end of the burn. It's also way more powerful.

I have never used Nero before, but I love the EZ CD 4.0. Peice of cake to use. I have never tried the volume thing to equalize em, but i know it comes with a doctoring program to fix that. the 4.0 does support drag n drop for mp3 to audio cds too.

If your using Win2k EZ CD Creator 4 works if Win98 Nero's better.

I like them both about the same. Nero did take a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it it works good. I was able to get both of them working under W2K.

I prefer Nero because for some reason I found it easier. I also like what it can do compared to other similar programs. Not had a bad burn yet, knock on silicon.

NERO, it's simple, and very good at burning stuff!!!

Well fellas, tell you what, if you're just talking about burning MP3's, I use MP3 CDMaker for that. Works great for me, super simple!

If anyone's interested, I have it for download on my website, on (of course) the downloads page.

Could anyone kindly tell me where I can download Adaptec EZ CD Creator 4 (full version) ?
I got "NTI cd maker" which comes along with cd-writer, it seems very unpopular, no one talk about it
Like to try "Adaptec CD creator ,,,,,, http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

You can go to adaptec's website and they will have links to where you can BUY it. It is NOT a "shareware" or "trialware" software. You can also get it from any computer software retailer for around 70 bucks.

EZ CD Creator is easy to use, but Nero is more powerful and is a better program.

First, how about mp3cd maker? I think it is free, or at least availailable as a demo.

I prefer Easy CD Creator 4 over nero, nero does not like windows 2k very much, it does not burn cds with my drive!
