I have a Diamonder Monster 3dII add-on video card that I'd like to build a gaming pc with. Since this is attached to the regular video card I am wondering if it really makes any difference as to what kind of video card is already in the system. PCI, AGP? Will a 8 meg card be better than a 4meg?

Thanks SKUZ

So I guess I can use an old 1 meg PCI card, or even a 256k ISA card?

No, it won't matter.

The Voodoo 1 & 2 add-on cards work by disabling the primary video card while the Voodoo is in use.

As a proof, disconnect the cable that link the 2 cards once your 3dfx game is started and you'll see that it still works.

Therefore, should you have a 64 Mb AGP 4x GeForce 2 GTS or a PCI Trident 1 Mb, it won't make any difference.
