How to make a logo come up on startup

After making my first computer I was wondering how to make a graphic come up at the start like my company logo...Can anyone help me?

What you using Win95,98,NT,2K?

I would also liek to know like how gateway does that all the way untill the windows 98 screen appears i am using win 2k how would i make one to cover all my ugly bios setting scsi bios and ata 66 bios and such????

win95 = logo.sys
win98 = built into one of the system files but you can put a logo.sys and it will work.
win2k = i don't think you can (but i'm listening if anyone knows how. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I think pickles was referring to the ones that come up while the computer POSTs. If anyone knows how to do that, or if it's even possible, I'd like to know too.

I've heard that there is a way to change the logo which appears during the POST, but it involves re-writing the BIOS, and is kindof dangerous.
