S3 Tweak utility

Anyone else have a problem with installing/running the S3 Tweak utility in Windows 2000 professional? I can get the damned thing to install or run, and I'm getting really pissed because I'm going to have to buy a new video card if I can't get the thing to run. Any help would be appreciated.

do you HAVE to install the tweak utility??? i wouldnt buy another card just because i couldnt get a "tweak" utility to work. id just use my drivers providing they work under
2K. but then again, not sure if thats what you mean...

S3 Tweak isn't just for OCing your video card. Its also used for features that are not available in certain OS's (like TV out in win ME and game profiles in win 2k) that I have to be able to use. I need it so I can tell my video card what 3D procedures to use on a certain game. When I had ME, I could tell the card to use features like "fix game text" and "z-buffer" and "TNL (transformation and lighting)". Without them, all of my games look like ****, and I can't use openGL in any of them. So basically I'm stuck with a card that has no useable drivers in win 2k and a utility that should help me that dosen't work.
