I have been debating whether i want to get an All in Wonder Radeon 32MB or a Geforc2 GTS 32MB. I had an 8MB AIW before which was great other than it sucked in games and wasnt compatible with Win2000 when i had it. Ok, here goes my questions...
1) I seen that the AIW Radeon now has support for win2k. Does EVERYTHING work in win2k? Is there anyone out there using it in win2k? If so, is it good or bad?
2) Hardware T&L: Ok, the geforce looks like it kicks **** in the graphics department, but i heard some folks talking good stuff about the Radeon. Does the Radeon support DXTC and S3TC textures? Also, I wonder if it will be able to be used in Unreal II which says it needs a Geforce card.
3) Are there other gaming issues? I know ATI doesnt have a good reputation as a gamers card, but im wanting something that will work in just about any game out there like my Voodoo3 does right now.
ok, i think thats all of the questions i have. I would like to have the Radeon for all its extra features, but if im gonna be losing out in the gaming department, then i would rather get a Geforce. Any advice and recommendations is greatly appreciated.
