Am I the only one in the world that cannot write Digital Audio with Cakewalk or
Sound Forge. I have a AMD K6-2 3D now 350mhz. Sound Blaster Live! 8.4 gig
Western Digital HD. 64 Meg Mem. Cakewalk 8 Pro Audio. I get bad "Glitching"
when either using a mic to record or line in. Happens in both programs. Did
everything on Cakewalk FAQ site. Was on the phone to Sonic Foundry. They did
not know. Is it my K6? I have talked guys that use Cakewalk and pentium 133, 32
meg of RAM, and had no problems until they got past 8 tracks of digital audio. I
have heard that I need more memory, which I tried, (A whole new story in itself.)
Is it my processor that needs more RAM to run these type of programs or
what. How can I be sure that I am matching up my 64 meg stick that I have in
there now, to a 128 meg stick that I may have to put in? Pleae help. I have
songs to lay down.
