I own 1:
AMD K6-2 333Mhz processor on 4GB hard drive
Award Plug N Play BIOS vs 4.51, Win98 OS,
EPoX EP-51 VPXC ISA PCI mobo w/Apollo VPX/97 PCI chipset, a
Komodo (generic) 14" CRT VGA monitor 65Mhz bandwidth, that supports VGA, SVGA, 8514A, and VESA, AND an

S3Virge DX/GX/ PCI 375/385 video card, which I want to ditch for a 32MB DECENT 3Daccelerator card (TV/DVD not important).

Recommendations? Places to go for a real deal? Any help would bring me great joy! :-)

if money is a concern try a TNT2, or geforce.
Try searching www.Pricewatch.com (http://www.Pricewatch.com)

A Voodoo3 2000 would be your choice. The TNT2 might have problems with your motherboard, and the GeForce II MX would be bottlenecked by your CPU.

The v3 2k would be less cpu intensive than the mx.

Thanks! The Voodoo's it, then! :-)

Yeah, go with the V3 2000. I have one on a K6-2 500 system, and while it's getting a little long in the tooth, I've been very satisfied with the overall performance.

In fact, I'm so satisfied with the Voodoo performance, that I'm going to replace the V3 with a V4 soon, even though there's support issues (like the company is gone).
