Micron is still a hidden treasure. Although few people know of the company, its TransPort XKE notebook provides users with a nice
blend of speed, software and long battery life. With either 200MHz or 233MHz processors, users have a nice selection of software that
includes Windows 95, Microsoft Office 97 Small Office Edition, Executive Travel Pak, Management Pak and Dragon Systems Naturally
Speaking. The battery lasts an impressive four and a half hours.

A 20X CD-ROM with AutoPlay allows users to listen to CDs while the unit is powered down. A 56.6Kbs fax/modem, 13.3-inch XGA
display, 2.9GB hard drive and 32MB of EDO RAM round out the unit's hardware. The Transport, however, is one of the heavier
notebooks on the market, weighing 9.2 pounds. The Micron TransPort XKE retails for $5,749. For more information, contact Micron
Electronics Inc., 625 Stratford Dr., Meridian, ID 83642, call 800/209-9686, or visit the website at http://www.micron.com
