I am building a K6-200 system for a friend. The PC will never be used to play any newer 3D games, maybe some older games & mainly 2D work. I am considering the following cards. STB Velocity 128, Matrox Mystique or Diamond Stealth 2000, all PCI. I can get any one of these for $15. The max. res. the monitor will be used is 800x600 at 16bit color. Which one is the best?

I would go with the Diamond. I've always liked their products. To bad they stopped making vid cards http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

You might want to consider a 3DFX Voodoo3 2000 PCI. It is a great card and is compatible with almost anything out there. Pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) list it for $49.

Anything by Matrox is better than any Diamond.
