hi,
got a radeon LE 32meg DDR. removed the H/S without a problem, it practically took no effort to get off. slapped on a blue orb with some thermal tape. when i install the drivers and reboot on 2 different(win 98, and ME) pc's the computer freezes and hangs with a black screen after the start up screen. i go into safe mode and notice that i have "ACPI IRQ holder for PCI IRQ steering" listed 4 times in system devices in device manager. i remove them all they come back. i tried going into bios to disable ACPI (reaching for stuff) but didnt see it in there. im basically wondering if the card is shot although i imagined if i broke it id get no video at all.... right??? hopefully someone can help. i dont wanna feel like i wasted 85 bux for nothing.
ps. i tried the drivers off the disc, as well as the one from ati's site.
