Shifting Colors on HP Pavillion M70

A friend's HP 17 inch M70 monitor, has an
intermitent color shift, it seems to go from normal one minute to yellowish the next, then back to normal, it kind of jitters too.
She says it has been that way since she purchased it almost two years ago.
Anybody have a clue as to what may be causing this?

It must have a defect. He should have taken it back as soon as it started. As it is know. His only option other then living with it. Is buying a new one.

Well he might try to bug HP about it first. But I never liked their moniters any way.

A neighbor had a Gateway that would be fine for a while and then suddenly the whole screen would get a pink tint to it. I was intermittent at first but would get worse the longer it was on. They sent two video cards before we hooked it to my laptop and proved that it was the monitor. Yeah - she should have been sent back to HP in the beginning. She could try to get warranty replacement on it but I doubt they'll go for it if the warranty period is out.

If they had of call HP when they got it they would have replaced it for them but being out of warrent they will not even look at it now I work for then in the support call center and i can be sure it will be a waste of yourphone bill to call them

I guess when they got it they were pretty new to computers, and kind of thought it was
normal or something, too bad they've had it for over almost two years.
