HELP!!! with a Voodoo3 3000 !!!!!

Using a 21" monitor with the resolution set at 1280 *1024, every time I close a window or quit a game my desktop comes back in horizontal steps, one section at a time. If I lower my resolution to 1024*768 the problem seems to diminish. I just downloaded the latest driver for the voodoo3 3000 but the problem seems to have gotten worse. My system is a pentium III 800eb mhz with Abit Be6II board, Voodoo3 3000 AGP,256 megs of ram. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. Slick D

Since I suppose your machine is works fine, try VIA 4-in1 drivers, they fix AGP based video cards problems, otherwise check if your desktop set to 32bit color depth, then try 16bit, and unless you're a graphic artist, you won't notice the difference ...

I saw the same problem that was solved by a download of the Monitor driver from the manufacturer site.

You may need to load a specific driver for your monitor. Check the manufactures site for a possible driver release for your model.
