Norseman 01-23-2001, 01:32 PM I just recently made the mistake of buying a 20" NEC 5D monitor of some con-artists on ebay... $96 was a good price until I found out it was much older than I thought ('91)and only has 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz. My question is whether a somewhat newer video card (Voodoo 3 3000) will work OK with this monitor and is there any way of getting closer to a 75-80Hz refresh rate? Thanks! Rat 01-23-2001, 06:55 PM If you try to push the refresh rate on that monitor beyond what NEC recommends, you will fry the monitor in no time. Your'e best off selling it for what you got into it. A 20" monitor would be wanted by places like medical offices and any business that doesn't care about graphics, just size. Rat... SysOpt.com
