Nic-Network card
This (http://www.sysopt.com/)is a link.
A thread is what you started here with your question and will end with the last reply.
Hope that helps. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

When I see NIC I think of Network Interface Card. There may be other meanings as well.

hey there sharpy...

a NIC is a Network Interface Card, the term NIC is just so much easier. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

a link is exactly what it says, it's a hyperlink that you can click on that directs you, or links you, to a site or location. for instance this is a link (http://www.sysopt.com) that will take you to sysopt's main page.

a thread is what you've started here on the bbs by asking a question. anything posted in response is an addition to the 'thread'.

i hope that clears it up a little!
