It is against the law to drive a motorized vehicle on King Street.

You can only hunt whales from a vehicle in Tennessee.

You can only beat your wife with a stick with a thickness less than your thumb in Jasper alabama(near where I was raised)

You can be put to death for putting salt on a railroad track here in sunny alabama.

This cracks me up. I knew our predecessors were morons, but jeez. Here in alabama it is commonly understood that our officials are morons given to back door deals and enough pork barrel projects to glut even a small governments appetite. We suck.

You have got to visit Tennesee's page and look at the city laws. A woman cannot legally drive a vehicle unless a man runs in front of her waving a red flag so as to warn pedestrians and other vehicles that a woman is on the road and...Well you figure it out.

Looks like I break one of those Tennessee state laws on a regular basis. No oral, they are just nuts.

It is legal to gather and consume roadkill.If I remember right this was passed in the last year or two. The reason because people want to eat the deer they hit with their car.

This is not a dumb law.
Any person crippling, killing or in any way destroying a proud ***** that is running at large shall not be held liable for the damages due to such killing or destruction.
