from a driving school point of views with only one computer. would u recommend to use Windows 98 or Windows 2000?

Please give reasons for your recommendation???

Windows 2000 will be the way to go in the future because of it's increased stability and security over Windows98. But, right now there are still alot of bugs and hardware issues to be worked out and the learning curve is a bit higher than Windows 98. Most businesses today use Windows NT or a combination of both Win NT & Win 95/98. For a single computer business I would use Win 98 for now, unless you are familiar with Win NT. Good luck.

I agree with Spencer, go with Win98SE!! I have it right now, as well as all of the patches and little upgrades that u can download off the net. It's suitable for my needs, and unless your running a small-large business, I'd stay with Win98SE.

There is a ver. of Windows called Millenium that's coming out later this year, I'm going to get that...it's customized for people like me who don't run a server on there machine and basically just use Office Apps, and games!

hope that helps!

NT/2k = increased security and stability

Win9x/Millenium = increased multimedia/gaming abilities.

Depends on your priorities.

Driver support for Win2k will come, just like it did for Win98.
