Slap me if I am wrong...... seti 03-24-2000, 02:11 AM For a general description of the brainstorming forum: http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum16/HTML/000001.html I agree...General Discussion is supposed to be computer related, atleast now with the introduction of the new forum. Ha, but slap me as well if you must. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by seti (edited 03-24-2000).] OuTpaTienT 03-24-2000, 02:58 AM Slap!....Slap! I'm not even sure what you're talking about, I just figured both you guys could use a good slap just on general principles. And I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Ok then, carry on. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Joel Kleppinger 03-24-2000, 07:53 AM Actually, there's a lot of non-hardware stuff in this forum I would consider off-topic for Brainstorming. Things like "I'm gonna be offline for a while" or "Did ya hear about....?" or "Decided to make the plunge for Win2k" (which incidentally, I'm doing tonight on my main box http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif). The brainstorming forum is for thought... and as much original as possible. We'd also like to keep that computer-related, but we won't be as tough on that as with other non-General Discussion forums. I'm planning on waiting for a few weeks to see how it's used and possibly lay down a few specific rules on what can and cannot be posted there... it's a forum in early evolution, especially because it's the first of its kind. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Oh, and my goal for brainstorming is that the thinking is so good (I know you guys are capable of that http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif) that some people will, after checking through different breakout, just go there and constantly click reload to get the latest thoughts and respond to/with them. If treated properly and creatively, that forum could really enjoy a lot of popularity and high-level thought not found anywhere else on the Net.
