Does anyone know if there is any real difference between these two? I've read all the marketing propaganda but haven't found any decent online reviews. On the Creative Labs website, the internal spec for X-Gamer is conspicuously missing... So, is there anything different aside from the included software? Thanks

nope...softwear is the only diff.

It is weird that the specs are missing for the x-gamer.

I think they are the same cards as Seti said. I would go with gamer. It comes with cool software. Free equivelents forthe mp3 software can be downloaded.

They are the same card. The only difference is the software bundle. Go for the X-Gamer, unless you already have the games.

I could be wrong, but dosent the MP3 version decode MP3's in hardware.
