I set my resolution to 800x600 and my refresh rate to optimal on my Voodoo3 3000 PCI. But everytime I run Half-Life or reboot it boots me down to 640x480. My refresh rate stay the same. The Voodoo is getting pretty hot, could It be the heat? I have all the new drivers from 3dfx.

NO it'a not the heat
Could be your monitor depending on what type it is...
but it's probably just because you didn't set the resolution to 800x600 in the half-life config ...

if thats not it give me the name of your monitor and refresh rate your using?

The monitor is a IBM G74 and I'm using the Voodoo3 3000 optimal or default rate.

do you have win2k ??? are you sure you have glide set up correct to work with half life you need to use the 3dfx driver in video modes
