I've noticed some video cards have video and/or S-video out jacks on them (Voodoo 3 3000 for example). I gather some gamers tape games this way, but does this mean you can use a TV for your computer monitor?

Your average TV (HDTV excepted) is interlaced, which means that pixels will bleed into each other, making things rather blurry. For games, movies, or non-text applications, this is fine, but trying to read text will destroy your eyes. LiLRiceBoi 11-21-2000, 12:23 AM you wont want to use your tv unless your watching movies or playing games....if you dont plan on doing any of that stuff....you dont need to get a video card w/ svideo out SysOpt.com
