Prestonburg, Kentucky?

Hi there. Some generous lady or gentleman sent a donation for my LMSS project originating from Prestonburg, Kentucky. There was no name or return address and I cannot find a reference to this in my emails for this. I'm sorry for not recognizing the person that sent this, but I had such a huge response, I am having trouble keeping up with things. Whoever it was, thank you very much.

The box contained 4 sticks of 8MB EDO RAM. Both are labelled as EDO printer memory. (CAn this be used in a regular system? Or is it proprietary RAM? It is 72 pin, one is Micron, the other is SMART.)

Sorry Dave, that was me. Forgot about the return address. I have used the memory in my brothers computer before. I built the system back in October and had no trouble with the simms. To my knowledge, they're not propietary. Hope it helps a little. Casey
