If you have an agp1 mobo, can you stick an agp4 card in it?
I know this has probably been answered before but I would like to know.

I take it that you mean plugging an AGP 4x card into a revision 1.0 (1x, 2x) motherboard? AGP 4x is supposed to be backward compatible - it should work. There's always the chance it won't, and if that's the case, you'll get frequent lockups.

Thanks for the replys guys.
I'm thinking of getting an ATI Expert2000 vivo to do video capture and either stick it in my machine a k62 500 on a pc chips mobo, or nicking my wifes Fury Maxx and putting it in her PIII 933.
