with my creative labs anihilator, agp wizard worked to ajust the agp speed and sideband, but doesnt find whatever it needs to work properly with the guillemot prophet.
sandra reports agp 2x and sideband disabled.
what prog could i use to enable it ?
thanx

first off, what are yer system specs, like board mainly.
I have a 64 meg gf2 gts herc card and it runs sidebanding.
I also found that I was not getting sidebanding enbled, yet the bios updates and via drivers told me they were suppose to enable sidebanding. Well I kept checking with a program called cpuid. wich you can get at www.tweakfiles.com, (http://www.tweakfiles.com,) but it kept reading as sidebanding was disabled, wich was puzling to me, so I dealth with it.
Well I got the newer version and it reads it as being on, so evedently some software, sysoft sandra being the case, may not read that it is enabled, when it really is.
Besides all this, sidebanding, 4xagp, fastwrites, all those don't make but a slight incrase IF at all, so I nevr worried about if they were on or not.
if they were then i could use them to brag with but as far as the fps say in q3 demo1, i never got even .01 fps faster with any of the 3 enabled. disabled didn't make a difference ither.

ok thanx. anyway it beats my old anihilator2 Gts even with that disabled.
a 7500 score at 3d mark at default settings is nothing to sneeze at.
now lets make the watercooler to cool it and lets overclock !!!

Also head over to entechtaiwan.com (http://www.entechtaiwan.com) and get PCILIST. It will probably indicate that sideband is in fact disabled.

SBA is disabled in the video card's BIOS. Guillemot has repeated stated this and will not release a new BIOS to enable it. You cannot enable it unless you first flash it with a 3rd reference BIOS, which can be dangerous and may not yield any significant benefits. There is a reason why it is disabled. It is UNSTABLE with most systems and the performance gain is next to nothing with most systems.

Sandra doesn't seem to be too reliable - it says that my video card, a GF2 GTS, doesn't have Hardware T&L capabilities.
