Right,
I currently have a KA7-100 mobo with 1ghz Athlon, and a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP. As of Monday I am getting a Prophet GTS 2 64mb to replace the V3.
Will I encounter any problems??
What drivers should install?? What is the all the chat about detonators??
How much perfomance increase should I see, my current 3dmark2000 score is 2651, what should it go to??
I hope that someone can answer these Q's for me.
Lee.

3DMark should go to around 6000+. The Det3 drivers are perfomrmance enhancing drivers that bumped me from 6100 to 6500 on 3DMark. Nice! You will see lots more performance out of the card and I haven't heard anything about any problems with your setup. ENJOY!
Dave
This is related to my GTS 32MB experiences not the 64MB...your results will probably be a bit better.

I tried the GTS2 from asus 32 mb.
Had some driver problems.
Screen problems(windows with shadows)
Problems with games(they where ugly or slow or my pc just crashed)
My problems came from my agp port which couldn't deliver enough power.
I went from a V3 2000 agp to a GTS 2 Asus V7700 32 mb agp to V5 5500 agp.
Due to my agp port I had no performance increase when I upgraded my v3 2000 to a GTS 2...at least thats what I think.
good luck

I'm using the 6.31 detonator drivers from www.3dchipset.com (http://www.3dchipset.com)
works nice and fixes some compatability problems..

On the contrary...
I think it's great!! I have the 5.12 (??) drivers...or whatever driver that is dated 7-12-00. They worked the best for the games I play (Rogue Spear).
Some may say that getting this card is a waste of money, but I bought it because it was going to last me a long time. I mean, it will still hold it's own against other cards for a while.
