Does anyone have any good ideas for 1:st of April?

This is what I did to my father last year:

I took a screenshot of his desktop. Saved it as a file and used it as background. I had to put all the icons exactly over the ones on the background.
Now, my father is not all that comfortable with computers. And he had also just bought a new monitor. Just a few days before.

Two weeks later (when I had forgot about the screenshot) he calls me and is really angry. I asked "Why"? He said that he'd been calling around to Fujitsu support every day for over a week, telling them that "Icons were cloned and I can't delete the copies. There must be something wrong with the monitor" and that no one could help.
He returned the monitor and got a new one with the same error *S*

Need I say that my father looked more like the devil when I explained what I had done?

Several ideas I've run through, If ya got a super junky car, get someone to take it as a "gift" car to a young person who is promised a car. Like my Diesel Buick Electra Station Wagon worked real good on one unsuspecting young lady.. Also, be careful here, If you are a old bag of gas like me, get someone who has a young daughter to tell the folks she has an "Older" new boyfriend and on Apr 1 , show up at the door with flowers. It is mandantory to have at least one of the parents in on the deal to keep from being shot.. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gifDrVette

Tell him you're gay.

If you ARE gay, and he knows this already, then tell him you're straight! <lol>

There's a small program out there somewhere that you can put in his startup that will turn the display upside down, but will still work fine. I'll see if I can find it and post it.

LOL, Strip!!!

I did the EXACT same thing to my dad a few months ago! And you know what? He spent a few hours on the phone with several Dell techies! It was the funniest thing.

Great minds think alike, eh? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
