I'm thinking of setting up a computer-type website. I've decided on the name "ZXboards" (take on BXboards). I don't really have HTML skills though. I need somewhere to put it, free would be nice, without loads of advertising and a really freeky address. Anybody want to join the team and write reviews/news?

Looks like it took a little to long to post that. As you have already got what you needed.

I have a web site called www.maxcomputersolutions.com (http://www.maxcomputersolutions.com) that I use for a business. I haven't updated for a while or advertised it at all. Really haven't been able to decide what to include or not include as you can see from the site. I have thought of including a hardware review/info section but really don't have the time to implement it.

Yes the name is long but it goes with the name of the business (Maximum Computer Solutions). Long but it really get the point across.

What I'm willing to do...
1) share the opening/home page with you so you can post updates etc.
2) give you your own directory for files (html, pics, etc)
3) no charge
4) I do want to be able to have some ads that would cover the cost additional traffic if I go over my 2000 MB/month Data Transfer. I would like to stick with computer or net related ads. If you have ideas on this let me know.
5) Funds left after paying extra traffic I would be open to suggestions for spending/payout.
6) I'm open to changing the look & layout of the site. It really is not very good now.
7) I only have 5 emails address but I'm willing to give you one to start with and one later if needed. I also have one for contests that I would share.
8) If at some point it is clear that your site needs to split I will help get a new domain name and do what I can with backing the site (money, if it seems like good thing to do). The name would be your choice.
9) If at some point I can offer prizes for contests I will. I have some things now but not worth much (4MB PCI card/modem/etc).

What I would like to continue to do...
1) have a section on the site for my sales, services, etc.

If you are interested but have something you don't agree with or want to talk about further let me know. If I can get a non-free/net based email address I can send my phone number and we can talk it over on the phone.

You can pick anyone you want to help you with the HTML. I know some HTML but not a lot. As far as I'm concerned if you want a hole team of people it's up to you.

Basically I'm a computer nut. I program for a living and build computers and custom software on the side (as you can see from my site) all I do now is local stuff but would like to offer systems on the net at little over cost for those people that "know computers" but don't really know enough to build their own. This also allows them to get support from anyone they want. Hardware warranty is from the manufactures of the parts.

Again I'm open to ideas if you are interested.

Looks good so far. If you have 17 bucks up front and 8 bucks a month, you can reserve zxboards.com as your domain name and have it hosted. Details are in another thread here. If you need someone to write a review, I would be more than happy to help.

Well done on the work so far it's lookin good but while at the site i was asked if i wanted to download Messagebay? I don't know what it is but after reading about the subseven virus on Sysopt last night i got a bit freaked and left the site could someone shed some light?
