evry time I start my puter in the morning, when it dails up to the enternet I get the big red X say lexplorer and it crashes me. I have to run scandiak to TRY to get on line.
here are the details.ANy help would be apreaceated, I sent this to microsft also but no answer.

Do a defrag, seriously, it can help a lot of issues. Then run sfc if you have windows 98 to restore any corrupt/missing system files. Go into safe mode and try it, maybe one of the software that is loading in your systray is causing your kernel to crash. Maybe try reinstalling IE. Umm...

check your desktop and see if you have any stray *.DLL files lingering on your desktop. if you do, get rid of 'em. move them to a different location.

also if your IE's JIT compiler is enabled and your startup page contains a java program that isn't compatible with the compiler. you may try going into your internet options to the advanced tab and uncheck your Enable JIT Compiler box and try again.

if it is IE5 you might also want to go into the add/remove proagrams option in the control panel and click on IE to remove it, but then select the repair option.
