Hello Everyone,
I recommended a matrox g400 dual head to our webmaster so he could use two monitors, a 17 and a 15 incher with different resolutions on each, or so I thought.
We can't or maybe it can't display different resolutions on each monitor. Is this feasible?
What's the point of a dual head card if you can only use the same resolution? We can clone the image but that kills our purpose.
We bought the oem so no manual included and the readme don't really address this.
Any thoughts?

Thanks everyone

You must be running Win2k or NT.
DualHead works with separate desktops/resolutions in Win9x/ME, but there is a limitation in the NT kernal that will not allow this type of dualhead/separate resolutions from a single chip card like G400 (although it works right with 2 separate vid cards). All NT/2k can do is stretch out the desktop across the monitors, not separate them. MS had said they would address this issue with SP1 for 2k, but they just quietly dropped the ball instead.
So, for the time being at least, if you want that functionality, you will need to use 9x or ME.
