Just curious about the differences. I saw on hardOCP that you can mod a GeForce2 into a Quadro2. The benchmarks were minimal to say the least. http://go.163.com/~xtennis/G-Quadro/Quadro2.htm
These are the benchmarks (link above). The link at the top of that page, shows how to modify it. Or at least it shows a picture of how to do it. Not exactly sure how to, or if it is worth it.
Thanks
Dave

I guess I should have read down further. It seems this hack gives you better pics in 3D design, not gaming. Since I am not a designer...I won't do it, unless you guys have other ideas about whether it is worth it... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Well, I did the hack last night, and immediately I saw about a 5-10FPS increase in Q3 timedemos. I suppose it supports more functions too.

All you have to do for a DDR is to remove one resistor ( R102) and solder it into a different spot ( R98 ).

The resistors were hidden under a label from CL on my card. I'm pretty sure it voids the warrantee, but since I got it second hand and put different heat sinks on it, I guess thats a moot point.

Hey Dave...it's worth it. FSAA works with no noticeable slowdown...smooth as glass in Q3A online.
