I have two graphics cards. A Creative Annihilator SDR (AGP) and an Ati All-in-Wonder Pro (PCI). Both are in my computer and only the Ati has the video-out. My Compaq reads the AGP first and makes it the primary card and the Ati (PCI) secondary. Is there a way I can make the PCI primary so I can use the video out? I looked around in my Phoenix BIOS but I didn't see an AGP feature. What's weird is that I can't even disable my Annihilator from System Properties but the ATI can be disabled. So far I have been removing the Annihilator from the AGP slot but that is a pain in the @$$. If you can offer any help it would be immensely appreciated. Thx and have a fun summer!
you should be able to i can in mine all you do is make pic primary video in your chipset settings i have never been into a Phoenix bios before well i hap this helps

He's talking about in your BIOS. There should be a setting something like this: "Initialize Display First" with the options being AGP or PCI. That's how it is in my Abit Award BIOS anyway. Good luck.

Have you tried to plug the monitor cable just into the ATI Card. I am pretty sure that this will work. The Bios and windows detects it automaticly.

No that didn't work either. My monitor was just blank. AGP is still primary

you might want to see if a program called tweakbios is able to access the pci/agp selection. I think that the phoenix bios is pretty worthless as far as actually doing anything in it...
