Monitor with blurry & double-vision

My monitor is starting to look weird. The picture is weird, and I can see sort of a double-vision effect. The picture on screen seems to duplicated (blurred) about 5mm to the right of what's actually displayed on screen. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 70 + Asus V7700

If worst comes to worst, could anyone recommend a new 17" monitor!?

Sounds like it could be a convergence problem. It may be rectifiable by using your OSD settings. Try adjusting the horizontal and vertical convergence/alignment and see if that helps.
