I'm building a computer to take to college with me this fall and with the cramped dorms and all i'm trying to make this my all in one entertainment center, i.e., tv, vcr, dvd, stereo. I've looked at ATI's All in wonder 128 pro agp 32 meg card and was wondering if anyone out there has this card and could give some feedback on it. Thanks.

When it comes to gaming... ATI is like 5th or 6th on the list. They're not too bad, but definately not for serious gamers. ATI genereally has great 2D. You can crank up your windows res about as high as you want without any worry. The all in wonder has some quite acceptional TV In's and Out's. It also has an on board tuner, so you don't need a VCR or cable box to watch TV. (unless it's encoded cable or something) The 128 version of the all in wonder also has a built in DVD decoder chip on it, so that means you'll be seeing all 30 FPS on your DVDs. Which I concider a must for DVDs.
For college TV, DVDs, and gaming to an extent, this is probably THE card you are looking for. I would get a SB Live! Value to go with it, and set up four speakers for surround sound, and AC3 DVD audio.
