Just got the above mentioned card, so I thought I'd give it a go at 3D Mark 2000. It scored less than my old TNT 1 !!!!!! Although I can feel the heaps better performance with the TNT 2 in playing games etc. Am running the latest drivers from ASUS too
What gives?
I know someone is going to reply to update to the latest Detonator drivers, I would like to but then I would not be able to use my nifty VR goggles, or will I?

Do you have the v3800???

I have that one too, and I can tell ya now, that is one fine card.
Okay, so I don't have the Ultra deluxe version, but the pure version, with only video out and another thing.

I use the detonator drivers myself and they work fine for me.
I get a score of 3200 in 3dmark2k at default test, with my athlon 650 and 128Mb pc100 cl2.
The card is running 170/190 now, but had it running at 170/210.

what version of the detonator drivers do you use? and did you have to replace the small heatsink/ fan combo with another for overclocking ?

i have the asus riva tnt 2 tvr delux
yes it a fine card.
do you have to use a bigger fan and heat sink to over clock it and does it actualy make a difference.
could some one send me any picks of there video cards heat sinks.
what is actually the bonus of cranking up the memory speed and engine speed.
could someone alaborate.
is it worth putting heat sinks on me video memory. ?
or bigger fan and heat sink

I didn't put a larger heatsink on the thing, I just added a couple of fans.

You know those small 2 inch fans right?? I put 4 of them on there.
The result has been more then satisfactory, but I figured that after running 170/210 for about 4 months, I could put it back to where it is now.
