ATI Mach64???

I have an old Cyrix 150 and its got a trident video
card thats bumming out on me. If I run It for more than an hour,
The image gets really dim and starts to flash. My friend gave me a ATI mach64
card to help me out. I need to know if this is a video card
or just an accelrator, cuz I plugged it into my old comp and nothing showed up on the screen, I didnt even get the customary single beep.

It is a standard (not pass thru) card. If you aren't getting any beeps, perhaps the card is a: not insterted completely(can cause very odd faults) or b: shorted and will damage your m/b. Incidently, the windows98 cd drivers do not work with this card, so if you do get it working, you will have to download the drivers or get them from the ATI disk.
