This retort that I made was incomprehensible to 75% of those polled.. I thought it was all obvious, then my D- grades were in a time when discpline was king and you were expected to try, I DID.. but, can YOU read this ? =>> "" Jad, I refuse response to go sub-terranium into the quagmire of inepness that permeates this most holy of forums, to acknowledge the illogical pervasive utterances of those whom choose to emulate one of extreme intellectual depravity!! . Confronted with such a pitiful pittance of an attemt to "inflame" myself, I find this deliberate violation of board rules to be merely,, -boring-.. Foutunately the enunciations of such sub-mediocre limited neuron function activity are not audible to manifest itself upon our tempani membranes to result in extreme cranial over-pressurization. His only protection of impending peril , is physical separation of Grey Matter from the Spinal collum, disallowing ordinary physical movement which is prudent to keep yet another Darwin Award winner from being,, Crowned....

I understood it the first time I read it, and the context's direction to whom it was meant. Makes sense to me.. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

translations:

Jad, i dont want nasty responses on this awesome board, just to give (whoever he was talking about) any recognition, beacuse he/she is not very bright. Seeing myself going down to the level of (whoever he is talking about) quite boring. Luckily, the speach of stupidity are below our level, and, therefore, we are not forced to be reduced to (whoever's level). His only good point is that his brain and spinal cord are cut, so he cannot move, and cannot die a death which he is so deserving of.

pretty good translation, i think.

i am also a product of an inadequate education system. my father died when i was 12 i was the class clown, scored 14 on the cat test in my freshman year and not one teacher or guidance counselor ever mentioned the word college to me. fortunately things have changed since 1957. i dont know if they still use cat test but each number represents 1 year of education as 12= h.s. graduate. barry

Overly wordy, poor spelling. Overall, I would give it a B- as it is an attempt at sounding intellectual, as anyone who does indeed use that vocabulary tends to be one of two things....Frazier and Niles Crane(trying to more than what they are, laughable) or someone who is feeling very insecure. The clue lies in poor spelling with higher point value grammar. Not the right combination. Spelling is too important to the true dork, only the fake one writes thusly. Bill

The following phrase (only part of the whole sentence) found its way into the draft of my latest book:
these disparate derivations are perhaps indicative of a fundamental dichotomy in the primary functions . . .

The draft is now under the copy editor's scalpel at my publishers and has probably already been reduced to a few three-syllable words. Probably just as well . . . http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I got your drift the first time...its the message not the transport!

Don't let the "infradignitatem" crowd get to you...
