Im thinking on upgrading my current video card for gaming, im very pleased with my Monster 3D II, but its time to get more juice from my system.

I read that the Voodoo 5 isnt the speed king, but i know its the most compatible card in the market. And the geoforce ddr 2 is very fast, but lacks of good drivers.

I use my pc mainly for gaming i play from first person shotters, to rpg, racing games.
So people what card to get the Nvidia or the 3Dfx brand.

Flip a coin and then wait for the GeForce2 MX http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

if you have the dough go for the Geforce 2

the MX is the budget version of the geforce 2 cards and they offer the same performane of a ordinary geforce SDR

The GeForce 2 GTS is faster but can't FSAA very well at all. If you're concerned with anti-aliasing and compatibility, go Voodoo5. If you want pure speed, go GeForce 2.

The Geforce GTSII is actually cheaper than the VooDoo5 at only $244 OEM.( www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) ) And just get newer Drivers.
