OK here's my problem (well it's not a problem as such)
I just put the full N5 5 /2000 on and installed the win 2000 voodoo 3 drivers (as opposed to the NT4 ones which worked in beta 3) and found that I couldn't use 3dfx (glide) mode in quake2. HOWEVER opengl works fine.
