Not sure if you followed it, (multiple driver installs etc)--- http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum4/HTML/002909.html ---1st--no 800# so I paid by the minute, (ive found tech support loves you for having a dsl connection to d/l with them while they have you online http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif) final assult with tech support this morn after new replacement card with completely different response from disk install, cursor was an odd red color, and card kept trying to re-install itself, all with a red hue, so I called...again...friendly tech support set on a search and destroy mission which resulted in a completely useless (fresh) W98 install, wont even boot in safe mode, (My W2K partition works fine as usual with my old VD3 card) I like to look at these things as learning experiences, not sure what ive learned from this one yet, (gotta allow it to sink in) I tried and asked all questions, Creatives tech support appreciated my ability to understand what they were saying, but leaving me with, "you have a serious motherboard problem and should seek an RMA" as it works fine otherwise without their card, leaves me with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth...believe me I love my other Creative products as well im sure you do, this didnt go so well is all... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif im still smiling tho...

EDIT---> Needless to say...card went back...
Guess ill search for another solution...
OH hey? Now I can use my new Partition Magic 5.01 I purchased...see? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
