Zip disk? (internal or external) or maybe something else? I don't know, I just don't want to lose anything now (my harddrive received a lovely little virus last week and I lost it all. I figure its time to spend a little to protect my stuff.)

Thanks

I have a zip 100 and a cdr-rw.....i use them both..if i would have to choose one, it would be the cdr....you can put more on a cd and they cost way less than zip disks.....

There are a whole line of different size internal & external tape drives worth comparing. I prefer Iomega and faithfully back up my files every night. Ease of use will ensure that you follow through with backing up. I just click an icon and back up roughly 50 megs of data.

Good luck!

An LS120 is great too! It stores up to 120 MB of data on it. It's usually cheaper than a Zip drive and so are the cartridges too.
