TV tuner cards

I saw an article a few months back about a "convergence" PC. One that will be a speakerphone, FM radio, TV tuner, VCR, DVD player and all that "junk". The system they built used a Voodoo 3 3500TV. I was wondering if there are any other cards out there that will do the same thing. What I need is the fm tuner, Somewhere to plug in a DSS or Primestar type system and the ability to plug in a Hi-Fi VCR. Also is the diamond monster 3 a 4-point sound card? Thanks for all the help on this one. Also has anyone built a system like this and what did you use or do you have any tips. I did see the thread below but I need a complete card not just the add on.

try the ati tv wonder it will work fine it work more than fine i get full screen at 1152 x 864 32 bit

...but if you want better than "fine", try the Matrox Marvel G400-TV. It will be WAY more than "fine".

I would also suggest a SoundBlaster Live! for sound, and an external reciever for FM (internal FM tuners usually get very poor reception due to all of the RF noise inside a PC case).

I already have dvd/tv card, but is there anything on the market that simply allows me to use my monitor to recieve tv without actually turning on the pc, for example a box that pluds in the back of the monitor?

not at all if there were it would cost more than just going out and buying a tv
