I'm very much satisfied by it's performance using the 3dfx drivers instead of the Diamond ones. I'm using it on a 233PII with 64 MB. If you're looking for a cheap card, buy a Banshee. Note that you'll need a relatively strong processor to expect best results. My PII 233 is the lower boundery in this case. Ultima 06-16-2000, 04:13 AM I've got a banshee from Innovision, and it kicks @$$!!! 3DFX is still good enough for my second system, and I have a k6-2@518 to power it!!! Get nice scores in 3DMark99 too!! Pim flash4master 06-16-2000, 07:08 AM i was just checkin to see how good it is cause i just picked one up fairly cheap. if i get drivers im probably gonna get chris's drivers (found on 3dfx banshee message boards.) i have a 233 o/c'ed to 266 in my current system. Wilan Wong 06-21-2000, 05:42 AM In my personal opinion, I think that the Creative 16mg Banshee suits those with low-end machines, something like a Pentium166 to PentiumII350. The card has good 2d performance but lacks the 3d side if you play 3D shooters. It has a low fill rate which really put it down from the rest of the bunch. But the Banshee is excellent on some games that are optimized for it like Unreal Tournament... SysOpt.com
