Diamond doesn't state compatability with Athlons.

I am having the same problem, 3d is very unstable with ViperII, Asus K7V, Athlon700.
I am also looking for a fix

Hi rapid,have you tryed updateing you drivers for your VIA chipset(if you haven`t already)it might help just a thought

Andy, I have flashed my BIOS to the latest version from Asus :1006. Also installed an uptodate driver from Diamond v550 w9x 368 , still no joy. I believe it may be an AGP conflict.

What the hell is that with Atlons (well, with Athlon-Mobo's(chipsets) actually)?
Is there a better option in Mobo's concerning the AGP-problems?

Which chipset are you experienceing these problems with? The VIA KX-133 or AMD Irongate?

It could be that a simple driver update for both the chipset and graphics card will solve these issues. I know several people using Athlon's with ViperII's with no real problems.
