Man this thing looks awesome http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I was going to get the Elsa Gladiac, but stumped upon the only Hercules card in the store. No games, no problem. I'll take those ram heatsinks over games anyday. Definitely an overclockers delight. Saves us the pain too.

The card is big, blue in colour, and has individual heatsinks for each of the DDR ram modules. The heatsinks are blue also to match...

Just got it today locally @ ebworld for $539.99Cdn, $615 after tax http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

Oh well, if its a good overclocker I'll keep it, otherwise I'll wait for the 64mb version http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Just ran a 3dmark2000 bench @ 640x480x16

Test bench system specs:
P3-600e@800mhz
128mb Kingston Infineon PC133 SDRAM @ cas2
Asus P3V4X mobo

Here's the results:
3Dmarks 6264
CPU Speed 409
Game1 Low 116fps
Game1 Med 87
Game1 High 55
Game2 Low 159
Game2 Med 67
Game2 High 39
Fill rate single 577
Fill rate multi 1151
High poly 1 light 5168
High poly 4 light 5153
High poly 8 light 2965
8mb texture render speed 611fps
16mb ------------------->320fps
32mb ------------------->173fps
Bump 3 pass 213fps
Bump 2 pass 312fps
Bump 1 pass 579fps

The above were within card's specs of 200/333

Overclocked results to follow http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Feel free to do some comparisons to your Geforce1 DDR setup http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Those are some pretty impressive scores. Try overclcoking your memory, as the GTS is really bandwidth dependent. Be careful with the core clock, as I know a few people that toasted the GTS at 220+ mhz.

I would compare scores, but I don't think you really want to see what my k6-2 523 and TNT-2 (165/249) actually scores. Let's say you could about divide your score 5 times for mine!

Ah man! Thats cool!

But please try and post a default 3D Mark2000 score at 1024*768 also. Just for comparing, most ppl go for the default then... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Hope youll get lucky O/C! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I'm pretty impressed by the o/c scores you have Plucky Duck!

Benching the GF-2 with 3dM-2000 at that resolution isn't a good measure of what the card is capable of doing. I mention this because, with the origianl Prophet DDR, I get a 3D mark of 6782. This is with the same type of processor, at the same clock speed as you have.

GF-2 should be getting these scores at the default 1024x768 bench test.
