I have a Gateway PIII 450 with 128 mb of ram and a DVD rom drive. I am looking to get a card that I can use to watch DVD's from my computer on to my 35 inch T.V. screen. Can anybody give some ideas on a fair priced good quality card????

The RealMagic Hollywood Plus is the best, and I've seen them off of Pricewatch for around $40. Otherwise, I think you can get a Creative Labs DVD decoder for around $20. Probably not as good, but better than nothing. I remember watching DVDs off my old Matrox G-100 with no decoder. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

My new computer has the RealMagic Hollywood DVD decoder. My friend built the system, and he only uses good stuff. It works great for the PC, but I haven't tried hooking it up to my TV. My TV is not in the same room as my computer :-(
