I use an NT utility that just happens to work fine on Win9x..... Its called WinDiff. Allows you to compare two directories or drives. Lists files that are the same, different, etc etc.

There probably is a utility on your CD burning software that will compare the copy with the originial and let you know if the copy is identitcal with the source. The software that came with my Memorex CD-RW has such a feature.

Good luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Ps: Did I totally misread your question?

I have one called CDCheck... it seems to work very well. Shoot me an e-mail at mbradley@idmail.com and I'll sent it to you...
