Ughhh.... I always here all these great songs on the radio, I always miss what they are called.. When I ask someone if they know what the song is, they go "Well, How does it go?" I have no idea! All I know is the beat.

Plus, After I hear a song I like, I listen for it again for the name, but they don't play it for weeks to days.. (At least not when I'm listening.)

Just wanted to get that off my chest. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I had almost the same experience 2 weeks ago. I heard a song with a cool beat, remembered 4 or 5 words of the chorus and posted it here to see if any of the knowledgable folks at Sysopt knew it. Guess what? I got about 15 responses! So, try to remember some words and we'll help you out. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Just so you know, the song was Pearl Jam's remake of "Last Kiss". Some of you may remember that. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I go through the same frustration. Either I miss the name when the DJ says it, or I forget, like when I'm listening in my car ... It's always the good ones too! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Yepper, that is frustrating. Think its happened to all of us. Give the radio station a call next time they play it, and ask em.

"Every Now and then, i turn it on again, but its plain to see that the radio still sucks" -- A punk band, cant think of the name

"PLease please please, play this on the radio, woahwoahwoah" -- NOFX

"Smash your Radio!" -- Sister Machine Gun

Hello,

Here is the solution. Ring them if you are so desperate and if they have the time sheet and you know the time – problem solved. Done twice for some old songs.

medo is right.. I've done that a few times.

Another idea is to find a good online vendor that has short .ra clips of all tracks on the CD, and listen to them... then compare to www.cddb.com (http://www.cddb.com) for CDs that have them... this works both ways.

If you know a few of the words or a unique phrase from the song, http://www.lyrics.ch/index.htm is very helpful. They have a text searchable database of song lyrics. I've used it more than once http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif.
