Voodoo cards don't use agp texturing or something like that.

They maybe connected to an agp slot, but they are not truely agp cards.

Or at least so I've heard, though I could be wrong.

Ultima is correct, as 3dfx's VSA-100 chip can not perform AGP texturing. The card, will however, use the AGP slot as a high speed PCI interface. The new v4/5 cards whould support anything from AGP 1x to 4x with little problem.
