Hey guys,

I am getting a little confused with my pc.

My setup first was:

Msi 6167 + an athlon 500 (not o/c'ed)
128Mb 100Mhz ram
Asus v3800 pure
Q'tum fireball 18.2Gb ata66
50 x cdrom.

With this setup I tested it with 3dmark99, and at the first race, it got to 62FPS.

Now, I have an athlon 650 with 256Mb ram.
the rest is the same.
Oh yeah, the v3800 runs at 170/210 solid as a rock.
But the bloody thing won't go over 63FPS.

Does anybody know how this can be???
I would expect at least a little increase of fps when I go from 500 to 650, but noooo, 1FPS increase.

Please help me on this one.

Ultima.

P.S. I'm using the asus 2.27 beta drivers, can that make such a difference???

Download WCPUID from http://www.h-oda.com and check your AGP settings. Also, play around with your AGP aperature. If it's at 64M, try 16M.

Your monitor's refresh rate is holding you back; disable v-sync

For permanent use, v-sync should be on, as it can cause flickering and image tearing. It's fine to turn off for benchmarks.

Hey guys,

I am feeling kinda stupid having to ask this,
but how do you disable v-sync.

I've seen it somewhere some time ago,
but I can't seem to remember where.

Any help on this is welcome.

Thanx in advance
