You could read about all three here. http://www.winsupersite.com/
I have found booting both 98 and 2000 being the best for now since many games will not run in 2000.

As for WinMe I liked the first beta I tried and am going to install beta 3(build 2499) soon.

WinME beta 3 is FAST! I think the final realease will be well worth it.
I just played Quake 2 and it is the fasted I have ever seen it run.I also played a little bit of Theif 2 and it is also much faster!

BTW: This really should be in the OS forum.

WinME is real fast. It boots on my computer with everything installed, not a fresh windows that has nothing on... it booted in 12 second... amazing. On win98, it takes like 45-50sec...

Anyway!

It's not out yet, and crashes a lot of time.

WinME is very fast. I cannot wait for the final product. It is an awsome operating system.

I honestly don't see a need for Win2K...at least for me. I tried it...it can't run games very well, at least not as well as Win98. I also find that Windows 98 is faster than Windows 2000. More appications run under Win98, it is faster, and is also just as stable, if not more.

Win98 is rock solid on my machine. Never crashes. Very fast. Games look wonderful.

I am not attacking anyone /w Windows 2000...just giving my two cents, thats all http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
